Where can I find my employment contract?
Upon joining, you will receive a Phocus Cloud account (via the Nmbrs app). When you log in via https://connect.visma.com/
You can find your employment contract under "My Documents".
On the Intranet page 'My Salary' > Phocus Cloud you will find everything about your Phocus Cloud login and account.

What about my contract extension?
When your contract expires, you will be notified in a timely manner whether it will be extended or not. You will always receive an extension digitally via SignRequest (secure and digital signing). For many, this email ends up in your spam box or in others, so pay attention to that.
How do I resign?
You can resign subject to the statutory notice period. This is 4 working days for zero-hour contracts and one calendar month for fixed-hour contracts. Send an email to hr@flagshipamsterdam.com with the cancellation date (e.g. April 1, which means your last working day will be March 31) and the reason for cancellation. The cancellation will only be processed after you have received a confirmation email from HR.
Important! Make sure your services are removed from L1nda after the cancellation date and retrieve your availability from L1nda yourself. You must return all company assets as soon as possible after your last working day.

Job descriptions
Skipper
The Employee is responsible for ensuring the safety of the ship, crew and passengers. The Employee sails through the canals of Amsterdam, ensuring that passengers can get on and off at the right location on time. The Employee must adhere to the departure times and boarding location of the passengers' reservation(s). The Employee ensures a neat and clean workplace at all times.
The Employee is responsible for guiding and guiding groups of passengers in the canals of Amsterdam by boat. The Employee teaches passengers about the culture and history of Amsterdam and answers passenger questions at their own discretion in a reasonable and customer-friendly manner.
The Employee is hospitable, interacts with the passenger and provides the ultimate guest experience. The Employee is responsible for good customer satisfaction and this is tested, among other things, by a 5-star rating on Tripadvisor, GetYourGuide, Google and/or other review sites.
The Employee is responsible for guiding and guiding groups of passengers in the canals of Amsterdam by boat. The Employee teaches passengers about the culture and history of Amsterdam and answers passenger questions at their own discretion in a reasonable and customer-friendly manner.

BBQ Chef
- Preparing bread and salads;
- Preparing different types of meat;
- Speaking to guests;
- Cleaning up the BBQ equipment.
Quay
- Being the first point of contact for guests;
- Welcoming guests;
- Helping guests on and off board;
- Checking and adhering to the boat schedule;
- Checking tickets;
- Maanging staff;
- Ensuring neat and clean boats.
Quay chief
Manage the quay employees and ensure that the following tasks are completed:
• Receive/welcome guests
• Check tickets
• Keep the quay clean/clean workplace
• Providing information to the guests
• Helping guests get on/off
• Act as the first point of contact for the guest
• Help with cleaning the boats -> pit stop
• Ensure the correct price sign
• Manage runners
• Solve minor problems (either ensure that guests can get on the next boat, ensure that the boats are supplied)
• Designate places for guests on the boat when it is busy -> place people, ensure maximum occupancy
• Maintain the boat schedule and ensure that the boats depart and arrive on time, confront skippers about this if they are too early or too late. • Know what the bookings are on FareHarbor
• Direct communication between quay and operations
• Register correct quantities in the appropriate app
• Take quay supplies to the quay.

Runner
The Employee's job consists of light work. This includes:
- Collecting and delivering staff food;
- Household tasks (such as tidying up the office, vacuuming, garbage, unloading the dishwasher or preparing BBQ boxes)
- Supporting the Duty Managers (such as delivering ice, drinks or other goods to the boat, small groceries, etc.)
Harbor employee
- Assembling and dismantling the boats and making them ready to sail
- Cleaning and refilling
- Taking orders;
- Minor maintenance and repair tasks;
- Ensure a neat and tidy workplace.
Harbor catering employee
- Taking care of the cleaning,
- cleaning up, preparing catering for (private) trips
- Clean and prepare the glassware
- Clean and prepare BBQ boxes
- Cleaning and refilling If necessary: helping to prepare boats for sailing
- Ensure a neat and tidy workplace.
Duty Manager
(Formerly called Operations Manager)
- Act as a point of contact in the event of emergencies or problems;
- Creating schedules, daily apps and ensuring proportional deployment of employees;
- Managing the skippers, hosts and quay employees;
- Inform employees about matters that are going on within the organization;
- Arrange correspondence by email and telephone;
- Welcoming guests, helping guests on board, checking tickets
- Ensure a clean and tidy office; think of receiving packages and
- put away, put meals in the refrigerator, clean and refill BBQ boxes;
- Heating up and delivering meals to employees;
- Handling and responding to complaints and feedback from guests;
- Instructing skippers, hosts and quay employees;
- Guests (re)book or refund via our booking system;
- Being the point of contact for the staff;
- Checking and recording the working hours, sick and vacation days
- personnel in the personnel system;
- Making preparations for the Amsterdam Light Festival (such as building boats in the harbor,
- placing orders and other operational tasks);
- Quay activities such as welcoming guests, checking tickets and providing guests with information;
- Cruise tours as skipper or host when necessary.
Yard employee
- To sand

Change of personal data
Where can I report a change of address?
You can report this via Phocus Cloud in the web browser or via the app.

1. Log in via https://connect.visma.com/
2. Go to 'Requests and tasks'
3. Go to 'Change address', enter your new address and click 'next'
4. In the comments field, enter the date on which you would like to report the change of address. Please note: this is only possible on the 1st of the month. If you make a change on 12/04/2024, you can choose whether you want to implement it on 01/04/2024 or on 01/05/2024.
In the app:
1. Open the Nmbrs app and click on the menu at the top left
2. Go to "Request changes" and click + (top right)
3. Choose 'Change Address', enter your new address and click 'send'.
4. Send an email to hr@flagshipamsterdam.com to inform us when you want to make the change of address. Please note: this is only possible on the 1st of the month. If you make a change on 12/04/2024, you can choose whether you want to implement it on 01/04/2024 or on 01/05/2024.
